eCHO news in your bi-weekly wrap up of all things eBPF and Cilium. If you want to keep up on the latest in cloud native networking, observability, and security this is your quelle

21st March 2023

This edition is a bit light on blogs and news and the only explanation I can come to is that everyone is reading Liz Rice's new book "Learning eBPF". This book builds on the first report "What is eBPF?" and extends it even more to get you to your first eBPF program with a “Hello World”. Lots of great content to get started kicking the tires and I know some interactive labs are in the work for it too. I'll keep this short so you can spend the time reading the book instead so let's 🐝 gin!

The Tweet of the Week

Tweet: The full version of “Learning eBPF” is now available on @OReillyMedia ’s learning platform - and I think that means it is with the printers too for physical copies!

As always, if you’ve seen a blog post, a tool, or anything else eBPF or Cilium related that you think the rest of the community should hear about, send them my way. You can either hit reply or join the #echo-news channel on Cilium Slack. You can also find all of the past episodes on the website.
