eCHO news is your bi-weekly wrap up of all things eBPF and Cilium. If you want to keep up on the latest in cloud native networking, observability, and security this is your quelle

4th April 2023

We are just two weeks away from KubeCon + CloudNativeCon and the first ever CiliumCon! There will be 15 different talks to watch (or catch up on after if you spend all of your time in the hallway track 😅). Besides that there is also a project meeting on Tuesday where you can meet the maintainers and a Cilium project booth to collect all the stickers you want. If you can't be there in person, there will also be a livestream of CiliumCon and you can join the conversation on Slack in #ciliumcon.

After biking to KubeCon, I'll be running around all week trying to keep up with everything going on, but reply to this email or DM me on any social and I would be happy to find a time to chat with you about any Cilium related questions you may have. Mention the newsletter and I may even have something special for you 😉.

I also won't be sending out this newsletter during KubeCon so you'll catch the next edition on May 2nd. Let's 🐝 gin!

The Tweet of the Week

I spent the whole day reading ebpf verifier code. Nothing can shake me emotionally anymore

As always, if you’ve seen a blog post, a tool, or anything else eBPF or Cilium related that you think the rest of the community should hear about, send them my way. You can either hit reply or join the #echo-news channel on Cilium Slack. You can also find all of the past episodes on the website.
